BLT - Bagels. Lox. Tefillin.

  • Do you need a pair of Tefillin? We have one for you! Fill out the form below and we will contact you.

What are Tefillin? Tefillin (תְּפִלִּין) are a pair of black leather boxes containing Hebrew parchment scrolls. A set includes two–one for the head and one for the arm. Each consists of three main components: the scrolls, the box and the strap.

The Torah commands Jewish men to bind tefillin onto their head and upper arm every weekday, in fulfillment of the verse (Deut. 6:8), "You shall bind them as a sign upon your hand, and they shall be for a reminder between your eyes." (More on what this means below.)

  • BLT - Bagels. Lox. Tefillin.
Wrap Tefillin, recite a prayer, and enjoy bagels, lox & cream cheese, with a cup of freshly brewed coffee. A time to connect, to "do Jewish" and just to be together.

If you have your own Tefillin, please bring them - otherwise we will have one for you (RSVP for a pair below) and we will guide you.

    No background necessary.
    Children are welcome!
