What Can I Do for Israel?
Yes, we can make a real difference!

I can create a PDF, but have no idea how to (or time and inclination to learn) insert it in the wall-board in my Jewish Center. Give me an email address to send the pdf file to and I will do that.
So important to take action -- let's stop being victims So important. So simple. Let's commit to doing what we can. I am.
Make a PDF with 7 things you can do for Israel today You could create a PDF, so it will be easier to print and inserted in the wall-board in my Jewish Center.
It brought tears to my eyes. I thought immediately to share this with my family - one of whom is a chabad member and my grandchild will be barmitzvahed by chabad. This gives me so much chizuk. I put psalms on my daily facebook and words of Torah.
I have had very good interactions and experiences with Chabad. However these videoes instructing us to pray and light candle and put on tefillin are not going to stop the attacks. WHile they are comforting and can not hurt. we must not be martyrs one again. You show footage of Israeli soldiers and police. Chasidim must join the fight. Join the army Carry arms defend youorselves and your neighbors
The one true power that can stop the attacks, the fight behind every person - soldier or not - is G-d. What better way to reach him, to fight for our security, than to put on our tefillin, light the candles, and be his children.
I know this is a few years late and you might not see this ;) But, for anyone else out there reading the comments:
Firstly, like Avraham said, (who wrote later in the comments) "This video is specifically directed at those who ask the question "What can I do?" This includes those who can't join the army for whatever reason or live so far away as to feel unable to contribute in any way. Yes, physical measures must be undertaken, but that isn't possible for everyone."
Secondly, there are Chassidic Jews that are in the IDF. Actually many. As a matter of fact, I have a few relatives (that are religiously observant and Chassidic) that are in the IDF.
Also, some Chassidim are helping Jews spiritually (Teachers, Rabbis, Shluchim etc.) , and some physically (Doctors, American soldiers, IDF etc).
And yes, you are right, everyone has to do their part for helping anyone and of course, a fellow Jew.
How are we supposed to share this ?
On the left of your screen there are little icons, F is for Facebook, the bird is for Twitter, The P is for Pinterest, the next is email.

Staci, this video is specifically directed at those who ask the question "What can I do?" This includes those who can't join the army for whatever reason, or live so far away as to feel unable to contribute in any way. Yes, physical measures must be undertaken, but that isn't possible for everyone.
What is possible for everyone, and what does help, is to strengthen our commitment and connection to G-d and Judaism.
Humanity is granted phenomenal power by G-d, and though some of it is physical, it would be an egregious mistake to ignore our spiritual capabilities.
Perhaps its our spiritual capabilities that gives us the strength outside Israel to keep fighting the hatred and prejudice. Perhaps we outside Israel need to fight our fear of being harassed and attacked just for being what we are, Jewish. I am guilty of being afraid to put Jewish on medical forms, I take off my Megan David before some meetings due to the fear of hostility or ramifications, my fear is ironic considering I spent neigh on 30 years bringing to light Islamic extremists in England. I don't know how many others are cowards like me hiding what we are.
I pray Ha'Shem will return to me the strength I once had and gives strength to other Jews and our supporters to be as brave as those in Israel, for us to have the strength to fight the hatred against us and the fear inside us which stops us bravely saying,
"We are Jews, we will not hide who we are and we will stop all those telling lies about us and we will stop our enemies because Ha'Shem gives us our strength."
